Matt Hallyburton hails from the Catawba Valley but is currently living in
Durham. Matt began turning pottery in 2008 and has been on the fast track to
mastery. He produces remarkable wood-fired forms,
including traditional alkaline, and delves into Shino glaze and swirlware to
