Chad Smith Pottery Face Pitcher

Chad Smith makes great pots in a methodical manner for he is certainly a perfectionist at his craft.  For past 3 years he has sold out his crafts the weekend of the Catawba Valley Pottery Festival in Hickory, NC.  It has been a pleasure knowing him over the past several years.  SouthernPots appreciates being able to share his art with the public.  Most of the time the folk potters will make face jugs, but occasionally you'll see a rarer form such as face pitchers.  This glass decorated deep dark alkaline face pitcher is superb.  One of my favorite pots I have seen him make.  Stands 11.5 inches tall, mint condition and stamped CS at the base of the handle.
