Chad Smith Bottle Face Jug

2010.  Chad Smith makes great pots in a methodical manner for he is certainly a perfectionist at his craft.  This March will mark his third appearance at the Catawba Valley Pottery Festival in Hickory, NC.  It has been a pleasure knowing him over the past several years.  SouthernPots appreciates being able to share his art with the public.  This particular piece is a rendition of a bottle jug with fabulous glass runs.  Chad’s stamp 'CS' is at the base of a finely pulled thumb-pressed handle.  Stands 6 inches tall.
